元Yes, FlashのPeter Banksがプログレ全盛期の73年に発表したソロアルバムで、上記のとおり非常に豪華なメンバーが参加しています。ボーカルなしの全編インストという思い切った構成になっていますが、今こうしてきくと、いたるところプログレファンの琴線にふれるようなパートがちりばめられているなかなかの佳作で、ファンとしては手元にずっと置いておきたい１枚に違いないでしょう。非常に残念なことに、Peter Banks本人は今年3月7日に心不全で亡くなってしまいましたが、残るメンバーのRay BennettとColin CarterはFlash名義で31年ぶりの新作をリリースしました。リハーサルの様子をYouTubeで見る事ができますが、非常にすばらしいことになっていて、即オーダーしてしまいました。

This ex.Yes, Flash member Peter Banks' classic solo album released in 1973 is all instrumental and it has many mind blowing passages for all prog fans throughout the album which must not be missed. Unfortunately Peter died of heart failure on 7,Mar(Rolling Stone on 12, Mar. 2013) but Flash member Ray Bennett and Colin Carter have released new album "Flash featuring Ray Bennett and Colin Carter".
