Canterbury Glassのアルバム、"Sacred Scenes And Characters"は1968年にレコーディングされ、陽の目をみることなく埋もれていった１枚でしたが、2007年に奇跡のCDリリースとなりました。Canterbury Glassなんて、絶対聞けないだろうと思っていただけに、このリリースは偉業といっていいでしょう。こうなったら、SarabandeとかHeel Pierなんてのも、なんとかならないもんですかね。曲はもともと６曲だったようですが、最後の２曲はどうしても見つからない、ということでボーナスとして１曲のデモが追加されていますが、オリジナルとは全然似てないらしいです。全体に、サイケ、ブルース、チャーチなどの影響を感じさせるこの時代特有の音になっていて、結構楽しめるのではないかと思います。先生は友達の友達からの紹介で４曲目のギターを担当してますが、かなり変テコな感じですね。

"Sacred Scenes And Characters" recorded by Caterbury Glass in 1968 was not ever published from any record company and it was released as CD in 2007.  I had never expected I could listen to Canterbury Glass so I think this is miracle and even great exploit.  I also wish Sarabande and Heel Pier will be also excavated.  This album originally includes 6 tracks but the last 2 tracks have been lost. The early demo version of one of the lost tracks are added as bonus but it is not resemble to the album version, the liner notes says.  The music has influence from psyc, blues and hints of church and it is comparable to the other bands of these days. Steve was introduce to them by a friend of a friend and plays odd guitar on track 4 "Prologue".
